Make Today Great!

“The things you are passionate about are not random, they are your calling…” ~Fabienne Fredrickson

Happy Monday! Last night, I had a plan to write a long blog and be energized while sitting at the desk. I wish I could say I started this Monday with a burst of energy, but I did not. When I woke up this morning, I had no energy to go to work. (I work as a resident assistant). Also, I usually look forward to working and blogging, but I found myself thinking “maybe I’m not focusing on the right things” .

Whenever I start questioning myself, that is when I take a moment to reflect on my purpose. I had to analyze my passions. For one, I like helping others and bringing joy to people’s day. I also like figuring out my thoughts on paper, and reaching some type of lesson. So, I realized that the things I believed my passions to be are correct. Working as a resident assistant allows me to interact with people daily. Blogging allows me to discover life lessons and share those lessons with others.

Obviously any task takes some effort, and it’s okay to reevaluate your life to make sure your energy is going to the correct places. But remember:

  • Stay Focused on your passions
  • Think: Are the things you are currently doing beneficial to your purpose in life?
  • You’ll get tired, but Push Through. (Try to find exciting ways to approach your interest)

And if you don’t know what your purpose is, take some time to think about the things you really like to do. I believe you’ll figure it out!

Well, looks like it’s turning out to be a Happy Monday after all!

P.S. Don’t forget. It’s Life, That’s It. ❤

Done with 2015… Everything I did and didn’t do is behind me now. As with every year I made new year resolutions. Doing the same thing and expecting different results. INSANITY !!! A personal relationship with my creator is my only goal for 2016. Once I allow Gods power to lead me, then and only then will I be sane.
